I received a B&M Z-Gate floor shifter from a friend the other day. I was contemplating installing it today, but didn't get around to it.
I'm wondering what the end of the stock column shifter linkage looks like. I know I've taken the column apart many times, but can't for the life of me remember what the cable end looks like.
According to what I've read, I can use the stock cable, and just make a large coil on top of the trans for the slack. I'm running a 4R70W 4-Speed OD trans (from an Expo), and am confident the shifter will work great as long as I retain the stock OD OFF Button (or fab my own and use the stock circuit.).
Any pictures or ideas of what the stock linkage looks like? I'm gonna keep searching my very extensive picture library from the 5.0 Swap in the mean time.
