Road Test

ok you guys i have a big test TOMORE! In the state of michigan you have to pass a road test in order to get your licence! The biggest thing is i worried about crashing into a tree or stop sign with my luck! I HAVE to past this test in order to get my licence on time!! I've heard some VERY good drivers have failed this test horrrbly. I have to drive around a 2005 Town and Country (minivan with fold down seats hehe!!) around an area i don't know! any tips?? Any EXTRA BIG TIPS FOR PARKING!!? Thanks !!

I would imagine most every state requrires a road test first. If not then stay the hell away from me lol.

Best advice, is just take your time and "try" to relax. I was nervous as hell when I did mine, so its hard not to relax. And with the parking just try to concentrate and relax and you will be fine.

And yea dont hit anything that prolly wont get you a license.

just practice, practice, and then practice some more.

honestly, if you are so worried about failing your test......maybe you shouldnt be driving.

i know that sounds harsh, but just get enough practice in so you feel confident you will pass

I doubt any "good drivers" failed that test if they were really good drivers. I mean, its simple as hell. IDK about in MI here my test consisted of driving about 20 blocks, I didnt even have to park lol. I think I got marked down for stopping in the crosswalk on a oneway, he told me I could have killed someone...lol ( I think I would see someone before I hit them! doh)

There's stupid advice of the year award.

Man, almost everybody is nervous before the test. It's not nearly as hard as you say it is. just drive how you drive with your parents in the car, and ALWAYS use your blinker, even if you don't know if you need it or not.

Yeah that defintely wasnt worth my time reading that, and A+ on the encouragement.

But yea like Aaron said, most everyone is nervous so just do what you always do when you drive with the folks and you should be ok.

All we have to do in GA is pass a driving test is a parking lot with cones and simulated traffic intesections lol.

Don't worry about it. I had this drill instructor type guy riding with me when I took my test, *****ing at me the whole time, and I still passed. Just remember no rolling stops, use signals, pay attention to your surroundings, don't speed or go too slow.

I didn't think the test was that bad... But I practiced a lot before, mostly concentrated on the parking. I felt comfortable with my ability going into the test, but I was still nervous taking the test. If you've had enough practice and confidence though, you'll be fine.

I didn't have to pass a driving test for my license. My parents just signed some papers and bam. I was done. If you've driven before though, just remember to stay calm and you won't have a problem. With some of the jokers on the roads these days, you'd have a hard time failing!
