like the topic says, i was looking on ebay for liftkits (i do this about once a week) and seen this truck.
"WOW what a truck! Up for bids is an custom 1997 Ford Ranger 4x4. I hate to get rid of it, but I recently moved to Atlanta GA and I needed more of a highway vehicle. It has the XLT package with cruise control, tilt steering, 4.0L V6, automatic transmission, 8.8" rear end, and a Dana 35 front end. I've never had any major issues with the drivetrain and it has 133k on it. The only drivetrain problems Ive had was a couple of engine sensors a few years ago. It has alot of new parts on it that I've replaced in the last year including; the radiator, water pump, ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings, brakes, spark plugs and wires.
It has a long list of upgrades that include; Skyjacker 6" Class II lift kit w/steering stabilizer, 33x12.50x15 Yokohama AT+II Tires, 15x10 polished aluminum wheels, Billet Grille, Flowmaster Cat Back dual exhaust, a massive custom winch bumper (winch not included), Pro Comp 6" off-road lights, Diamond plate tool box, Superlift traction bars, K&N Intake System, Sound system (Sony flip-down CD player with remote, 2 Sony 6x8 speakers & 2 Cerwin Vega 6x8 speakers wired to a 600 watt amp, a custom speaker box for a 12" subwoofer (sub not included)), CB Radio with PA speaker, Shelf-it overhead unit, Warn manual locking hubs, TruSpeed Speed Sensor Calibrator, Bed liner, Trailer hitch, Wired for an alarm system and remote entry which is not currently working, White face gauges, Vent Visors and a Bug Deflector.
It has minor dents and scratches like any off-road vehicle. It has Richmond 4.10 gears in the rear, but I never got around to putting 4.10's in the front, so it still has 3.73 gears in the front axle. Parts and labor to put 4.10's up front should be around $400. The few times I've needed 4wd I locked it in until my tires quit slipping and it worked fine.
Overall its an excellent truck. It runs and drives great and it passed the Georgia Emissions Test a couple of months ago and it has a clear title."
