what is the difference between those and having beadlocks that are green?

those are not my choice in wheels but the look he is going for can be pulled off.

would you be saying the same thing about it if it was 3-6" higher, w/ 33's and said green beadlocks?

The scoop may not be functional, but neither was the one on my '02 Mustang GT - looks like the same scoop that came on the Thunderbolt Rangers.



Maybe the owner is Irish.

I used to have similar views toward them but on some vehicles they do look good. They are all about looks, we all know they don't make my truck faster, just like the side skirts and front bumper covers. I like my Thunderbolt dammit!!! :-) (and I'm not the only one)
Everyone has their own style (even mexicans, puerto ricans and black people) and If you don't like it, too bad, it's not your truck.

 

I think the one pictured is a stick on scoop which is a mortal sin. Non functional scoops are fine honestly if they are molded into the hood.

The owner of that truck...should take the Ford Emblems off, the Ranger Emblems off, and then continue to drive, because that truck does not deserve to hold the name of a Ford Ranger!!!!

I despise most aftermarket tails unless blacked out. I don't mind other mods such as fake hood scoops as long as its got that look like it was supposed to be there from the factory. If it looks bolted on or out of place then its weird too look at. But why lime green dude seriously..

 

Does anyone have an updated picture of this truck? maybe it was part of a plan we dont see?

Another thought is its made to match something? Such as he has a WRX or something done up like that?? Just ideas
