New 06 Ranger Grille

I am assuming not, but is there anyway to swap out my grille on my 01 and put the new 06 grill on. I am only seeing that it can be done on the 04-05s so I am assuming its not possible on 01-03.

I really love the look of them and think it would make my front end look sweet, and I am just not happy with the billet grille I have on right now. Anyway thanks.

I think it's been done already. Not 100% sure.

Where in Cincinnati are you from?

I am too, but when I look at the new front ends I just cant turn my head, love the look. And if I had the new badges, plus my valance idea with the lvl II hooks I wont want to sell my truck for something newer.

as far as getting it on your truck you need to find a silver 04 and get the hood, and few front end pieces

So its the hood that makes it different. I am betting that would be expensive just to switch to a 06 grille.

i believe the silvers have all been the same, silver frost. you will need the hood and possibly the header panel

Can anyone chime in on this if the 04 hood is actually silver frost. If that was the case I would just need to find one at a junk yard, make it alot cheaper.

i still dont think they made silver frost after 03. Actually im pretty sure. they make a silver metalic now.

04+ silver metalic
01-03 silver frost

so you wont find a hood that matches.

if ya dont believe me check out www.paintscratch.com they list the colors for your model/year ford.

Yea but wouldnt a different color silver hood stick out like a sore thumb. But if it looks the same and I could get the new grill I might be willing to give it a shot, and if I had to get it painted later on that would be cool.
