WOOT! Best Xmas Present!

I rotated my tires today, hopefully I'll do a little better off road now that I have the more aggressive tread back on the rear.

While I had the front tires off I had my dad come look at my brakes. We determined they'll need replacing at the end of this semester. Since my ball joints have had one foot out the door for a while now, I suggested we replace them then as well since we'll have everything halfway torn apart anyway.

Even better, he gave the OK on putting lift spindles on it while changing the ball joints!

Finally, I'll have my truck sitting the way it sits in my daydreams about all the stuff I'd do if I had a fat bank account. Who knows, I may even do a BL afterwards. I just want the front sitting a tad bit higher than the back.

But this thread isn't all jibberish. How much effort is there in changing ball joints on your own? I see they are press in joints, so I'll have to take them to the machine shop. I've seen some guys mentioning a ball joint that is easier to swap.

I'm a ball joint noob, so point me in the right direction.

Make sure to do before and after shots. Ball joints suck. Make sure to get a ball joint puller from your local auto parts store they loan them for free normally.
