hose question

theres a hose that goes into something on the drivers side on my axle....how important is that hose?

It could be the vent hose for the axle. If so its important. It keeps pressure from building up in the axle and water from going in through the vent if you submerge the axle.

i think its the vent hose, but it broke, and i didnt know if it was important or not, how can i connect it back?

yes, yes this i know, part of the hose is still on the valve, theres a little bit of the valve peeking thru, the main hose is hanging down, pics tomorrow
