off road 2wd rangers

ok seriously.... this is almost a moot point....2wd will never perform like a 4x4. theres prerunning and rallying on gravel roads. im not tryin to be a ***** but even with a locker or spool its not the same... better but not the same.
if your looking into makin your 2wd better just buy a locker and some nicer tires.

Well a sh!tty driver with the best vehicle will get stuck. You are just more cautious but I highly doubt your truck can do what my truck can do and I'm stock other than tires. I have proven this to a few people that think their 2wd could go where my 4wd goes.

I offroad IN 2wd, does that count? lol For the record, not counting mud, my truck in 2wd with the locker locked I walk all over my friends in 4wd. Even with BFG all terrains. One of the friends drives a Toyota with BFG M/T. Driver skill has a lot to do with it.

At the very least you need a limited slip. I'm not gonna wheel anymore until I have one. This open rear end I have is pathetic.
But you just have to know your limits. If your rig is 2wd you should just accept that you are limited to milder, dryer offroading and can't do it all. I'm just fine with that. I don't want to **** up my DD anyway
lol. So you're saying a body lift is better for wheeling than a suspension lift thats made by Fabtech? lol

I rock crawl like a mother****er
I go mudding
Climb steep inclines
Negotiate treacherous, tight terrain
And I really have to know the size of my "rig" for some of the tight trails
Also been known to do some hardcore water crossings
my 2wd > you
please let some bodylifted 4wd people quote this and talk ****, the same people who wax their trucks and armorall their tires and then go find a little rock or hill to drive and and show their mad suspension flex to their internet friends like to talk a lot of **** about how hardcore they are.

I'd like to see you try to climb some of those with a 2wd. A well built 2wd truck will be capable but it will have nowhere near the capability of a 4wd truck.
