Hey guys!!! ok here's the deal, I hope I posted this in the right place! yeasterday it rain and rained hard all day long!! Also I was driving my truck most of the day also to the night as well. My fog light worked fine last night. This morning I notice on the driver's side fog light there's a 1/4 inches of water sitting in the lens but both the fog lights still works! So I undo it and the water came out! So I found the problem, The lens gasket was twisted and that cause the water entering the driver's side len! I did remove it before few months ago when I did the swoop1156's mods. I straighten the gasket and cleaned it and dried it also then re assemble it and everything seems to be ok! Also i apply the silicone spray on the gasket so it slide in without twisting!! The passenger side fog light is no problem and dry as bone!!

Does any one had this problem before? Should I worry next time when it rains hard? Thanks in advance!

Silicon should hold pretty darn well, I've never had to use it but I have had friends who have, and hey, if it works in so many girls willing to part with a good sum of money, I'll trust it!

Christian, check this out

If you try putting in new gaskets and silicon and that doesn't help, you can drill a small hole in the bottom of the foglight for water to drain out of. I have found that water, while unable to get into the hole, can easily drain out.

I don't think drilling it's a good idea because the dust and the dirt can get inside!! The way I see it, if it doesn't seal, better off getting new seal gasket. By the way, right now it's holding fine and I didn't drive in the rain yet ever since!! But I' ll ley you guys know ok, thanks again for responds...

remove the foglight... take out the bulb... use rubbing alcohol inside, let it sit in there... it will evaporate and clean out the lens and grime... then clean it with any little rag you can get inside... reinstall it, and make sure it is a tight fit, and then use the silicone...
