I thought the flapper door for hvac is electronic? but i just looked to see why i got no heat and it is vacuum activated. i need it closed righ? it is but doesnt seem to open when i change the temp settings. and where is the globe that holds the vacuum by the airbreather? do i have something different? its not there but another small cone type thing seem to have a vacuum line to it on top of the engine bay. is that it for a 98? ive seen some one else ask about it but no one replied bac to him

i got tired of trying to figure out where the vac leak is and why no heat so i dropped it off at the radiator shop and it a blown head casket. i guess its time to dump money in it and get it running corectly then the front end swap and maybe re gear it.

it was pretty slugish when i got it i figred it was the big tires on a 3.0 but hopefully i was getn robbed of hp from the blown head gasket and ill get some hp back from repairing it.

also the wheel bearing went out so i ordered new wheel bearing assymbly and new lower ball joints. i checked them out myself like the info says i was givin from another topic. and when i had it in the second shop they said the same. i need the one upper but i can hold off on that right now and just worry bout the lowers.

also my steering extension is sloppy and slides in the piece it bolt into. is there a fix for that? or do i need to just replace it? i think that will eliminate the 1"-1.25" steering slop
