Trying to change my parking lights

And I am lost as to how I go about getting to them. I have a 00 Ranger and I know it has something to do with the plastic tips on the headlight but they're held into place by some metal piece that's stopping me from unscrewing, popping, etc them off. Help?

between the bumper and light housing are a pair of screws. undo those and i think it slides right out. been awhile since ive done it. or maybe it drops down and pulls out.either way. you have to undo those screws

I tried to do that but there are these metal clip preventing me from removing the headlight to get to the side markers. Is it really necessary to remove the entire headlight to access the parking lights? HELP!

no no no dont remove the headlight lol they're a biatch to get back in and aligned.. you just undo those screws below the blinker and above the bumper and the corner assembly should come right off

I know where it went!!! Hopefully you haven't gone anywhere yet!!!

Stick your head between the tire and front of the wheel-well on the side you lost the screw. You'll see a ridge at the middle point of the front bumper, where it changes to the plastic part. There is a support brace that bolts to this ridge. Feel along the ridge particularly behind the support brace and you'll most definantly find that screw! I've dropped it there thousands of times, and have gotten to the point I can get it without looking because it's such a common spot for the screw to disspear to!

Honestly...go take a look. You'll see the ridge I'm talking about and understand. Your truck would have to go through a blender and get shaken upside down for it to be visible or fall out of this dang spot!!!

I bet you $1 it's there!
