painting rear differential q's
painting rear differential q's
ok, i was under the truck a day or so ago touching up, anyways i did my rear axle, but that i saw, i figured i may paint that too..... where my aluminum driveshaft attaches to the rear diff is a non painted rusty steal thingy, can i paint that, or should i stay away from it? i believe its called a 'lubed for life' u joint, not sure tho.... its at the end of the shaft, and connects to this thing that looks alot like a u joint, then goes into the pumpkin.... but its all rusty and crappy looking...
i havent done the actuall cover yet, or the diff just the axle, and my springs and stuff... tomarrow i think i might get out the brake cleaner and maybe some orther harsh chemicals and see if i can cut that sticky crappy undercoater off the differential so when i paint it, itll stick and be easier to keep clean
