Installed BL, rims, & tires

I got my 3" PA Body Lift on along with my Mickey Thompson Classic II rims and 32" Buckshot Mudders. I really like the way it turned out.

It took about 14 hours to install doing it by myself and it was my first time. It turned out I was missing some nuts and bolts so in the middle of the install I had to hunt down those parts. When my spray in bedliner was installed they sprayed over the bed bolts. I spent about 2 hours carefully cutting the bolts out trying not to mess up the spray in liner. I got really lucky on the cab bolts. I didnt spray them with wd-40 or anything and I only had to have someone hold 1 of the 4 bushings. Oh and the metal pipe for the fuel filler was an incredibly tight fit, I really think it was the wrong size. The metal pipe for the vapor line would not fit. It was the same size as the rubber line itself, so I had to go to the auto parts store and get a piece of brake line. Other than those problems it went smooth.

Thanks for the compliments. I really do think it looks different, but in a good way. It looks exactly like I wanted it to. Question for you that have done a bl, did your steering get tighter, even before you put on bigger tires?

My steering changed a bit, I can't really describe it. I know personally mine makes a little noise now, creaks from the steering column. I think its just because of the extension. Same with the shifter boot, more noise from the shifter since I'm a 5spd.

Same here. Steering got a bit tighter or heavier feeling, and occasionally get creeking from the column. I also get some gear noise through the shifter.

Looks real good! I have been contemplating putting a BL on my truck. The downside is I will have to have my rear bumper redone and have brackets made for my push bar, so it will cost more than just the lift for me.

ya, I want a bullbar, but now if I get one I'll have to fab up some brackets and hope it fits ok. I also dont like that I lost my tow hooks, but maybe I can fab up some brackets for those also.

To fit your stock tow hooks back on all you have to do is cut your platic valance. Its really easy to do.
