passenger door

does anybody else have a problem with having to slam their doors in order to get it to shut. i know this is a truck and i dont expect to be able to close like a door but i have to slam my passenger door pretty hard to get it to shut. a lot harder than the drivers side. does anybody else have this problem or a possible solution?

You can adjust that out. I'd first loosen the latch assembly (3 screws), then tighten it just a little snug so it can move, test the door a few times, tighten. If that isn't enough adjustability, you'll need to adjust the pin on the frame.

I believe it is a T-55 driver for the door latch pin. Check its alignment with the door latch when the door is almost closed to see which way you need to adjust.

My PS was just the opposite, hard to open. Pin was scraping on the door latch bottom. I did have to adjust both to get it right. Wife's much happier.

I have that problem on my driverside doors. The passenger side rear door does not open anymore because it is out of alignment and it causes the pass door to not latch correctly. Once it warms up they are all being realigned.

I have this issue with the driver's side door. I attempted to adjust a door hinge years ago, F'ed it all up and swore never to touch another one again.

I have that problem with my extended doors...but that's cause the seatbelt keeps getting caught up in it.

Mine does the exact thing.. sucks when you have a 5 year old child that can NEVER tuck the seatbelt back inside when she gets out
