picked up a new truck

picked up a new truck

so last night i picked up a 87 ranger reguler cab automatic with a 2.3 for $150 plans are to cut the coils and flip the rear shackles and eventually a 5speed swap

don't cut the coils. that is too nice a truck to have that done. just man up and spend the extra few bucks on lowering springs.

do it right or don't do it at all.

x2 you saved a hell of a lot of money on the truck, so why not spend your saved money on some good parts?

i propose that anyone who even thinks of lowereing their ranger

My 2.3 has over 220,000 miles on it. Those trucks ran forever.

Sweet 1st gen, I'd say a great candidate for a 5.0 swap to go with the 5-speed

i ended up pulling some drop coils from a truck at the junkyard today so i wont be cutting the coils

my b2 is already lifted i needed something a little better on gas for a daily driver, and i like the look of the gen 1s' lowered
