Summit Offroad Lights

Hey just wondering if anybody has had any experience with the Summit Brand Offroad Lights. I just received my bull bar and I am looking to put some Offroad lights on it. Also will these lights fit on the bull bar. Here is a link and pic. Thanks for your help.

yes i have been through that kc thread and i know that the slimlites fit the ultimate bull bar.

These lights that I have posted above are not KC though.. Not sure if you are hinting to just go with KC. I dont think I can afford those at the moment. After shipping and conversion and customs I am probably up near $300 for a set of slims.

Anybody have a review on the summit brand lights?

170 for the lights, 40 for shipping, 30 for conversion, and then whatever customs turns out to be... 250 - 300 bucks..

And those are my thoughts exactly.. How do I justify 300 for a set of lights.. I dunno... Im searching here in Toronto for a good price but so far my quote for just the daylighters (I know they dont fit) was 160 per light.. I mean freaking comon!!

All I am looking for is a quality light at a decent price. I have found the Hella 500's for $110.00 +tax. This is probably the route I will go.. Just searching for some info on these Summit Lights I found on their site.

Also does anybody have a picture of the switch to turn on the Hella Lights?

well I ended up going with the Hella 500's. Stores down here seem to praise them esepecially in winter with their plastic housing. Price tag here was anywhere from $130 - $150. I got them down to $115. Looks like they have restyled the lens of the light and cleaned it up by clearing off alot of the horizontal lines. Now I just have to wait to get my replacement bull bar. 3 weeks for mounted pics :(

I looked in my summit catalog. It says that it's a slim type lite, like the slimline KCs.

well the thing i thought was cool about the summit brand lights were the fact that they were stainless steel. And SS at a decent price. 67 for the pair. I just dont think anybody here has had experience with them.

If you are talking about the Hella's they are pretty slim. You can see in that picture that they cleared up the lens a bit. Not sure if that helps with brightness or what not. They look like a solid light and bulbs to replace are like $7 CAD.
