towing in 4low?

can i tow a truck that exceeds the towing capacity of my ranger in 4low with out damaging anything? I gotta move the old 1977 e350 up about 15ft... it weighs about 11,000lbs. cause the guy is gonna come pick it up and take to a junk yard. which brings me to another question, how much should I get for it? the tow is gonna be $100.... but how much should I expect to get for the truck? its all steel, including the body. On the new cube vans, the body is fiberglass, but this one is steel... how much should i expect to get for it?

shouldn't be a problem... but how are u gunna tow it 15ft? just put a strap on it and pull it? if so its not gunna be a issue at all... i pull out trucks that are 3times the size of my truck sunk to the doors in mud in 4lo... and im sure thats well above my towing capacity.. so i dont see why it would be a issue.

Just go slow and you will be fine, as long as you dont have to stop it there will be no problem.

If your on solid ground 2wd will be fine. If its soft 4hi will do.

The tow rating comes into play with stop distances and hills.

yea 2wd maybe 4hi if traction is a problem. I've towed a few 350's with dump beds full of mulch of dead grass all around a dealership. Really no problem until i get the truck into the smooth concrete floor and the tech just holds the brakes. My boss used to hate it when that happened cause i'd just floor it and slide back and forth
