Icon5 plugging in a 4.0 L?

I just got a '98 ranger with new trans and transfer case. i need a motor. how easy is droppin in a 4.0? what mods do i have to do?

INFO!!!!! what engine does it currently have? auto or manual? 4x4 or 2wd?

Its the 3.0. 4x4 auto. Is there a ecu swap?

yeah, motor, trans, wiring, computer, hoses, radiator, mounts, exhaust, etc.

What if I pull a 3.0 from a Taurus? Will it be compatible

dont know about the taurus but a 4.0 will be a full swap. may as well just do 5.0
