Tow strap/Pull point
I noticed a lot of you guys have tow straps and ropes and what not, specially when wheeling. i know your not supposed to use the Ball Hitch, but i've been guilty of it time or two. I used to pull stuff out (friends, family, etc) with my Dads Ram (lease). but seeing as how he let that go and got himself a beater for a bit, it looks like im going to be using my Ranger.
That being said, i want to fab up some incognito hook mount or whatever, i have two styles of straps, a like 30 ft 3" braided rope, and a 10ft tow strap. I want to do a D hook style mount, but i don't know where to start, can anybody offer up some suggestions of what they've used/seen used.
Pictures would be awesome too. but i'm not asking a whole bunch here.

Also doubt the 3/4" or 1" shank of the ball itself is rated high enough in a shear strength position that it's in.

on my dads Ram, the loops on the bottom of the hitch where the chains normally go were big enough for me wrap my rope around the receiver a few times and that usually sufficed.
