Good morning, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to RF Speedway!
What a gorgeous day for race and today is the big grudge match between the 4x2 and 4x4 Rangers -- team members competing today for the checkered flag!
They're coming up to the green flag...AND THEY'RE OFF!
Oh! The 4x2 has taken a sudden lead -- gotta' love that power to weight ratio that...but wait, oh my!
They just hit the muddy section of the first turn. The 4x2 is losing control and spinning but the 4x4 slowed and is powering through the mud now in low range -- he's out of the turn and down the backstretch...no wait, the 4x2 has rocked himself out not and he's powering down the straightaway and overtaking the 4x4.
Hold the phone, folks! The second turn is really torn up right now! Look at those potholes and chunks of rock and asphalt out there! The 4x4 is crawling over them and the undaunted 4x2 is right next to him...oh oh! The 4x2 is stopped up against the exit of a pothole -- he might have to back out of this one...yes there he goes and he's having to go the long way around.
The 4x4 is almost through...what a display of "crawlmanship"! Yes, he's out of the turn and heading down the final straightaway towards the checkered flag...but the 4x2 is tearing out of the turn now that he's past the obstacles and are his tires smoking! He's taking the truck to the redline and beyond -- wait, are chips legal in this class? -- it's a question for the judges, folks and this commentator has no idea!
Okay here they come, they're just about there, the 4x4 is leading, he's leading, the 4x2 is overtaking and as they cross the line in front of the checkered flag the winner is ...oh my gosh ladles and gentlespoons it looks like a tie! We'll have to wait for the ending photo and see what we have...yes, it's a digital photo finish!!!
Looks like we've resolved NOTHING, so from R-F Speedway, I'm John Griggs and this has been your day at the races!
