Not much at all. They're mostly cosmetic and just cap the steel fender at the lip. I don't think they'll give you more than 1/4 ~1/2".

theres a couple rangers at the local dealer with fender flares, ill go over maybe tomarrow, durring my travels and get the actual dimensions, cause i was thinking of getting color matched flares for my truck, i think they looks better, and some folks say it helps keep the crap off the side of the truck

It looks like you have a Flareside in your avatar. Bushwacker makes an "Extend-a-Fender" flare for Flareside Rangers that they claim adds 2".

just take the dig and get flares and get a wheel with less b/s...mine barely stick out...at all.

In the rear they are about 1/4" out...in the front about 1/2"

I have 4" of b/s on 15x8

I was gonna say to use the Superduty Pocket flares, but then you would be able to fit waaaay bigger tires cause the new ones come with like 34.5" tires with the 20"rims.

I'm looking in my Arrowspeed Catolog, and the only large fender flares that I'm seeing are made by EGR. They call them "Rugged look". I don't have any specs on them on how far the stick out. $189.99. I'm not sure if that for a full set. I thinks it's for front or rear. Bushwacker had a set of 4 OEM style for like $500. And I know from experence those don't offer that much coverage.

I'd try to call up bushwacker and get some measurements to see if they will even fit on the fenders.

I think it'd be cool if you could pull it off. you'd have a SO much tire clearance using a bushwhacker superduty flare.

Adds 1 1/2 inches of clearance. Dunno, might work.

I think you should get a wheels with less B/S

i.e. cragars with 15x8 4" b/s

and get some stock flares

They won't stick out much at all...

Sorry for being repetative...I think I got overlooked

I don't think it would look as good... plus if he added flares, it would look even more kickass.
