buying an 89

Hey everyone, I've been out of rangers for awhile now, and I'm currently looking for a winter truck. I found this one yesterday and looked at it. Seems pretty solid other then wheel well rust. I have no experience with the older v6 or the older 4x4s. Anything I should look out for or be aware of any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Mark

I loved my 89, is that the 2.9? They're awesome beaters, and if I remember correctly uses the same mounts for a 4.0 so if the motor ever gives you trouble it's an easy swap for a better more powerful motor. I loved mine when I had it.

Curious if you bought that 89 ranger!
I have a '89 2.9L :)
If ok, I'd like to compare mine to that one. Post pics? (Link to craigslist is no longer valid)
