Wow, glad he is ok. I'm very familiar with that area. Nasty drop down into trees/rocks, and then you roll into the water. Bad place to go offroad.

 

i still say you were in another state other than Cali, cause Cali doesnt have snow....

 

It does on the CA side of Tahoe. To make matters worse, the idiots don't plow like they do on the Nevada side; and the roads are not maintained. I guess CA doesn't have the money, so they basically let the snow pile up. Really stinks because you have to drive over to the CA side to go skiiing. On the Nevada side, the roads are maintained, and always kept clear of snow. Everytime I go to Tahoe, I think to myself "this place would be so much better if all of it was in Nevada".

Yep. When driving across the CA/NV border, the road will be almost unbareable rough, then you'll go up a bump and it will be nice smooth roads. It's amusing really...CA has terrible roads all over, not just Tahoe.
