Yeah, my '03 has the ones like Myhkael posted...where it is just over the headlights, and not onto the grill...

And I'd much rather have the "drunkenpuke-proof" vinyl floors than carpet...plus when it gets trash in it, i just sweep it out!

 

The new style seats started in 04. The black and silver seats in my 04 are stiff as hell compared to much softer seats in my old 02.

 

My 04 has black backing behind the grille.

No inner splash shield at left front wheel. Looks odd to see the starter through the wheel opening from a block away.

 

^They did that for overheating issues.

I need to repaint my "eyebrows" white again. It looked good when the paint didn't flake off.

BTW, my 04 DID have those headlight cover things. My 09 does not. So maybe its 05+ that doesnt have them? or 04.5+? ha ha

yeah....and you can only get 3.73's unless you go with an Fx4. SUCK. Standard power options on all supposedly too.

04-05 are the same, 06+ they chaged the shape some....less tall, less bulky, and less blind spot making. Height is just a skotch taller than 03 and older seats, where as 04-05's go almost to the roof! lol.

Dark truck...can't tell too easily...could be that 06+ they slacked even more, I think I mentioned that. Here's Marie's '08:



Yup...remove both, and bodylift the truck, and BAM! you've got an oil filter and a rusty exhaust manifold in your face from 5 blocks away! lol.

Upon further investigation, Marie's '08 has the holes already in her headerpanel...




Appears as though these eyebrows might work on 04+'s with the install of those Jnut/Unut things.

 

My truck doesn't have pre existing holes

Wouldn't be hard to attach one if you had one just lay up there and drill the holes out

It does clean that panel gap up pretty well.

Plus smaller panel gap = more aerodynamic = better MPG! lol

 

me too.. its pretty funny that my 96 xlt has one and my moms 98 LIMITED expo doesnt have one.. i thought that thing had every option on the friggin planet

 

my truck goes as a 2007 but it rolled off the assembly line in September of 2006

 

I guess I lucked out. My '03 XLT had no cargo lights but it did have the "surprisingly rare for rangers" silver gauges, consolette with cup holders (read they got rid of them in later years,not sure 100%), composite piece behind the grill to cover painted header panel, and headlight brows.

BTW, I still have the brows in a closet is someone wants them PM me please.
