Need a new radiator...
So i had a small leak and have been filling up with water every other week, i figured if its that small why replace the radiator. So i bought this **** that you put in its brown and supposed to seal up leaks, as soon as i drove off I overheated. I think it clogged something up. Anyone ever used that stuff?
Anyways where do you get your radiators from? Napa wanted $200 fml. radiatorexpress has one for $127, but it sys ohv, i thought my truck was a sohc?? 03 ranger 4.0 4wd
will this one work?

Get a Visteon radiator from rockauto.com. Supposedly Visteon is the OEM manufacturer. I replaced mine with one and it looks identical. I also had a Ready-Rad from O'Reilly....that broke in 5 months...garbage.
The other thing you could do if money is tight is to go to a junk yard. I know it is a chance, but find a newer ranger with a good one and you are all set.

I found one in the junkyard last summer for $30. When I went to the ranger section, all the radiators were either mangled from a crash or already gone. When I walked up to the Mazda section, I found a B2500 with a perfectly good radiator sitting in it. So if you check out your local U-pill yards, make sure to check the Mazdas.
