I ****ing love my truck. Yea it's a ford and ya people talk a lot of **** but I still wouldn't drive a bowtie over my ford. I hate cars, I feel like I'm draggin my a$$ across the freeway when driving them. I like the fact that I'm a good 5' in the air and got full front and back bumpers incase anyone decides to run into me I'll still be able to drive away. I don't know what it is with my truck but I spend most of my money on it out of everything. Bought it with 15k miles and I'm going on 100k miles with no issues of being stranded ever.

Ya I paid out the a$$ for it when I bought it but I would do it again.
Ford baby!

I meant F-350... while a 3/4 ton would do me, I'm a one ton fan. Thanks for noticing it!

I can't stand my truck at the moment.

I wish I could just go poof and get rid of it.

It's slow as all hell, sucks at towing a trailer, sucks on the hwy, sucks for mpg, it's small, can't fit anything int he cab, need I say more?

I want a diesel. Infact I almsot need a diesel at this rate...

I love my friggn ranger... even though its only 2wd and a bit rusty around the edges. I love it wayyy more than any other vehicles I've owned. Hell I think that its better than the ZR2 I sold my brother. There is only one truck that I think I loved more and that was my 88 Scottsdale, I built that thing from the ground up then had to sell it because Illinois changed their laws and made it not street legal. (was a total pro-street truck). I miss him (it had ballz) but I fell in love with her (my ranger since it has no ballz). I think also that my ranger was the first 2wd to pull a bowtie 4wd out of the mud

I love my truck, if I could change somethings about it I would i wish I had a 4.0, and the 4 doors, mines only 2... I even kinda wish it was a 4wd so I would have it if I needed it. Both of my vehicles have been trucks, Ford trucks at that, my Dad has always had trucks, Fords also, ever since he was a teenager I couldn't see me in anything but a truck, with the exception of a Mustang, hopefully one day.., I had a 1992 F-150 FlareSide extended cab with the 5.0 302 V8... it was my Dad's old truck it had 180,xxx miles on it when I traded it end, little did I know how much I would regret it one day, u don't realize how much you love something till its gone, my plan is to find it and restor it one day.
But as for my Ranger I love it, I get good gas mileage, I avg. about 18 thats city and hwy together with the way I drive, i'd say that's damn good, its small and compact and easy to monuever through traffic... in my opinion I think its pretty quick for a little V6. Granted I added a K&N air itake and exaust which prolly helps a little put it was pretty peppy bone stock when I got it used last year. Granted I'm a full size truck guy but with gas the way it is now, and the fact that I couldn't afford a newer F-150 at the time is why I got the Ranger, and I fell in love with it, plan on keepin it for a very long time.... I've seen the kinda miles people get out of them and that makes me feel good hope I can keep my runnin 200,xxx plus miles down the road one day... I wouldn't ever ever buy foriegn and I will always buy a Fords, I am a diehard Fordman and that is one thing that will never change. I plan on goin back fullsize again one day, F-150, but as for now I love my FORD Ranger and me and him we'll just keep dustin that foreign truck ***, (I dusted a Nissan Frontier one day like it was nothin, and that was b4 the K&N) I only do that kinda stuff when they **** me off though... and NO U DON'T NEED A 4WD TO GO OFF ROADIN, I'M NOT SAYIN IT DOESN'T HELP BUT MY LITTLE 2WD HAS BEEN THROUGH THE MUD JUST FINE, GRANTED I WISH IT WAS A 4WD BUT FOR ALL THE DUMBASS Z71 JACKASSES OUT THERE NO U DON'T NEED IT ALL THOSE POSs ARE GONNA DO IS GET STUCK AND BREAK IN THE MUD!!! Guess I've said enough Peace out!

I do have cc's, but under 2k in debt. I own my truck outright, and own my atv outright, and my trailer was paid in cash. All my mods are cashiizle!

I got 'suckered' into getting my truck. I wanted a 4WD to begin with, but that didn't happen. My mom was on the way home from work one day and saw this "cute" truck in a local auto lot. She got me to go look at it and so I did, then the next day she bought it. We never actually got to look around because she was an impulsive buyer.

And as of now, on the 26th of this month my truck will be traded for another vehicle, I don't want to spill the beans just yet though...

I bought my truck hating Ford. I always liked the way Rangers looked but I was never interested in buying one. I was actually looking for a Tacoma or Frontier at the time but I couldn't afford the Tacoma and the Frontier put out the same power as the Ranger but supercharged.

I can say that I like my truck but I would never buy another one. It's smaller than anything out there and it is the least powerful in it's class. The engine is ok but it needs more power. The 5 speed is a joke. It is weak and the slave cylinder is sh!tty. No experience with the auto so no comment. The truck is tiny inside. The interior is plain and unchanged. I also think it's retarded how 4 doors are optional on the extended cab. I have to change position of both seats many times just to get something large in the back. It should at least be 3 door standard and 4 optional if anything. The front differential is a stupid design and is weak. The front suspension just sucks. I think the Ranger and the Colorado are the only trucks in the same class with torsion bar suspension. I also don't trust the electric t-case at all. It has gone out on me when I needed it most. Skid plates should be standard on 4wd models.

It's a decent truck It's just fine for me since I'm single and rarely have people in it. It really needs an update in every department. I would rather spend my money on a Toyota Tacoma or a full size F150 or Tundra on my next truck.

well i wanted a taco but they were just to expensive so i started out looking for rangers and s10s but i really wanted a full size so i started researching rangers and for the same price i found a 01 f150 4x4 witht the 4.6L as the ranger i wanted the f150 but mom said no fullsize dad didnt care then one day i come home to find a ranger in the driveway i was kinda pissed cuz i never saw it b4 it was bought but also happy my parents bought it for my bday being a work truck my trucks paint was f'ed up and dented
i dont really like my truck (poor mpg too small and crappy front suspenion) but its better than a car but i will never buy a ranger again i will probably get a f250 and run biodiesel

thats funny that theres another guy on here who had an integra before their ranger .... anyways ... only reason i got ridda my integ is it was gonna need a timing belt, clutch, water pump, and the paint was going, and i figured for a grand might as well spend it on a truck

sold the 96 LS coupe 5spd with 176k, si rims, dropped, alarm, cd player for $3500
bought my 99 b2500 5spd xcab with 90k, alarm, and cd player amp / sub for $4500

so i think im doing ok despite the 7mpg drop in gas mileage, i dont drive that much especially when im back home in chico, ca ... maybe once a week or so. Its keeping me out of trouble cause i dont speed cause it gets low 20s upper 10s if i go over 80 mph in it

I bought it before i knew i was moving to wisconsin for the summer, and although i coulda always got a utility trailer for the acura (already had a hitch) it was nice having everything in the truck

plus its nice to go camping and be able to take my full size propane grill and innertubes already aired up .... and i love the tent my dad bought me for it

The Volkswagens/Audi we owned gave as 0 problems. Our Fords have given us more problems without a doubt. D. , I didn't ask you to talk **** about what I like. I could make some comments about your truck but I'd rather not

You have NO idea what's in that truck time or money or power.
