tire help...235 or 255???

just a quick question...2010 ranger sport 4x4, i am doing pre keys/torsion crank and shackles in the rear, i am going to get tires aswell...question is should i go with a 235/85 or 255/85. i am using a high tire to get a little more ground clearance, is a 255 a bit to big...its almost 33" in diameter.

I would go for 31x10.5 if I were you, maybe even 32x11.5.

255/85 will work fine I think. Guys are running 285/75's which are quite close in diameter.

285s and 255s are nearly the same size. You can run a 33x10.5, I don't see why you can't run a 255/85.

i went with the 235/85...the 255/85 which is a 33 is a bit to big i think...for stock drivetrain, 373 rear end will have a bit to much trouble and with gas prices as high as they are any little bit i can do to not make it worse helps:P
