Keep the ranger.

If you want to shorten the wheel base then you could always just bob the bed. You would still have more room then a jeep to haul stuff, and still be able to tow with it.

Ranger hands down....my 3.0 does decent on fuel even pushing the 33's, so idk where you got 13mpg on a stock truck??
