I sell Whipples and wouldnt recoomend dropping the money on one. I sold 3 in the month of December just before the price increase. I had problem after problem with damaged parts getting to my customer and then one was supposed to go to Washington and ended up arriving at my house in FL!

Whipple had bad housings and other problems with the internals on the blowers thus causing a huge back up and then back ordering started. V8 kits got to be a 6 month back order and then Whipple not even accepting orders. Now we have a member here who has problems with his Whipple.

For 3300 I would NOT buy a whipple right now and just go big.

i say get the superlift and then buy more mods with the left over money or use the leftover money to get you half way to the whipple.

Good blower, runs on the hot side, but then again a nice piece. I have had a lot of experience with Whipples on big engines (502cid/500hp stock). IMO the ProChargers are better, and cost less in most cases.

There are big problems currently with the supplier Lycoming (sp). One of those whos ***** is bigger deals.

I knew there were some parts shortages from Sweden. When I spoke with them in the past the 3.0 had no effected parts. It was like the 3.0 was the only charger that IS shipping prompt. This is back from November.
It'll all get worked out in the wash.

rcd says it will not work on a truck with pulse vaccuum hubs. make sure you dont have pulse vaccuum hubs.

idk much about the DBR, it increases travel, but does not lift the truck. runs about 5k at minimum

Superlift is your only other option and i think it is plenty strong, alot of people have beat the crap out of that lift.

The RCD lift can have the knuckles machined for the pulse vacuum hubs... several threads on it over at ORR.com.

That being said, the Superlift kit is a beast! Mine survived rolling the truck 3 times and is still in good shape!
