Real Time Help Lowering Spare Tire

Hi all,

I am having real time problems lowering the spare for a flat tire that I got. The roadside assistance was good, but I sent him away since I was home and didnt think I would have issues with lowering the spare tire.

You must first unlock it using the long plastic key thingy. Then assemble your jack arm with hook end going into the hole where the lock was. Start cranking and it will come down.

Hi all,

Thanks, I dont have the locking key doohickey :-) I finally managed to get it down. The next thing is searching for a replacement Goodyear Tire or see if this tire can be repatched.

My next question is how do I deal with the TPMS, is there a backdoor way I can reset it, or do I have to go to the stealership to charge me up the crank to reset it. My dad thinks by unhooking the positive battery terminal that will reset the ECU for the TPMS. What say you the jury.

they shouldn't charge you to reset it. at work we have a little hand held computer to reset them but you might be able to do it manually i would check your manual. if you can't though it literally takes like a minute so they shouldn't charge you.
