rear glass swap
Ok so I have a '96 ranger with sliding back window, and a bed topper, which makes the sliding back window useless. I also have an '04 ranger with no topper and no sliding back window.
How hard would it be to swap the 2 back windows? I'd like to have the sliding window on the '04. I've never replaced a windshield or anything like that on my own, so I'm not real sure whats involved with taking them out and putting them in. Is it something I could do myself with basic tools? Are the 2 windows even the same size?
BTW both trucks are extended cabs.

not too hard, it is held in by bolts and butyl tape to seal it. be sure and use said butyl tape replacing them so that they do not leak. I had to take mine out and reinstall it a few times until i learned.
Now, when I traded mine to a guy with I think an 01, his had only 3 bolts in the top where mine had 5. i have less bolts now, but no leaks. not too hard to cut off or not use depending on the situation.
you should have one bolt on each side, 3 on the bottom, and 3 or 5 on top.
