Lights for trailer

I added two 55 watt H3 to the back of my truck. I have receiver hitch, and a person never has enough light back there trying to back up and hook up to trailer. I mounted them to bumper just inside hitch frame area so they cant be knocked off either. They will also work for idiots who come up from behind with bright lights on.

Installed rocker switch(sideways) in the bottom front of my console on floor. Ran wire through firewall to battery and then ran one wire back to lights. Hooked ground to bumper. Looks good

The white block in the middle, is actually a cell phone holder I machined out of plexiglas and mounted in between cup holders. It can move in any direction to get out of the way

I just drilled into edge of bumper, so that the lights were insde the hitch frame. Mine just had a 5/16 bolt in them.

Did you put a relay or an inline fuse for it?

If you plan on going wheeling at all, lose lights are going to last 10 minutes under there.

If not, that is the perfect place for them.

Don't really like the location of the lights. They hang down a bit to far for my liking. I put a set on a while back, still haven't had a chance to wire them up, but I love the location.

There is a search feature at the top of the board that works great.

Do you really not know how to wire up a set of lights?

I think we might have a problem...

I installed mine almost exactly the same place STL did. It would be hard to knock them off. they are right up against the receiver hitch frame.
