1994 ranger rear brakes lock up .
its not the standard ford first pump and it grenades the rear brakes.
if i hit my brakes hard i.e. if a jab the brakes for a deer my rear drums refuse to let go .
the first time it happened i locked the rear end up i n my truck and had to replace the whole rear end.
now ive replaced ALL of the brake hardware from the proportioning valve back .
i came home late last night and slid in the gravel coming down my road and now i cant move again .
can i just bypass the rear brakes by cramming a bolt in the master cylinder?

Did you replace the proportioning valve?
Did you completely flush the brake fluid with new fluid from a sealed bottle?
What do you mean by ? "the standard Ford first pump and it grenades the rear brakes"
If your rear brakes are locking up and your trashing the rear end, what size tires are you running?
I suggest posting pictures of both rear brakes the brake lines, flexible brake line etc
perhaps we may get lucky and spot something you missed.
the few things I can think of that would cause rear brakes to lock up are.
A collapsed flexible brake hose at the rear end, water in the brake fluid.
A bad proportioning valve, or a problem with the Antilock braking system if equipped.
Give us more detail so we have a chance to help.

every ford ever when the truck sits for a bit the rear drums will try to throw you through the windsheild .. every truck ive ever owned does it .
but i think i narrowed my problem down to a sensor up by my fuel filter .. abs hydraulic sensor ???
i bypassed it with a compression fitting it hasnt done it since.
