Newb with new ranger

Hey guys, I am new here. i just picked up a ranger the other day. I have always driven fords I own a 93 5.0 that is my project car. For a while I was driving a beater escort but finally saved up some money to get something nice. I opted for the ranger because I really wanted a small truck, and I had to stick with ford. After some searching on craigslist I found the perfect one. I pais 4300 for it. It's a 2000 3.0 2wd with 69k miles. It is in real good condition the only thing it needs is a heater core (yikes!) and a door lock switch (I hope). But other then that it has power everything, and everything works fine on it. I plan on keeping it stock, I have no interest in doing major mods to it, I think the truck is perfect from the factory.

I joined not to long ago and I already am looking into a bodylift with some nice 31s. I too was happy with my truck when i bought it stock but once you start seeing other memebers trucks makes you want to do everything you can to it.

haha thanks guys, I ripped my sound system out of my old car today and threw it in the ranger. I just could not deal with the stock stereo system, I needed some bass. Just through my cd player a 12" sub, and a small amp to give me a little bass. You guys are probably right, the more I hangout here the more likely I am to find something I want to do. So far I havent really found much I really want to do to it, its not 4wd so I dont plan on doing an off roading, and I like the look of a small lift and a little bigger tires but not sure if i want to spend all that money on this truck as the mustang is my project vehicle. Thanks for the kind words!

keep it stock and use money on project :) I've done the burn my dollars at two ends modding two cars. left me in the poor house as a young man and without a ride once because i tried something on the dd while the project was down waiting on a part.

ps, love that colour,
