I got backed into...

So, I spent Saturday and Sunday helping my buddy move out of his apartment. I had backed up my truck to his garage entrance and started loading some stuff, when all of the sudden BAM!!! some lady hit my car backing out of her parking spot.
Filed a claim on the spot. Her insurance should cover it though.
This is my first time dealing with an insurance claim. Is there anything I should keep an eye out for?

pic of the damage.

Keep in contact with your agent. Or whomever is handling the claim.

I can't tell, she had been rear ended by another driver the night before so we couldn't asses the damage to her car.

yeah, I'll be checking in with them again tomorrow.
I'm just wondering if they'll give me a rental while my truck is in the shop. Should I make a lot of noise, or is that unrealistic?

Ask for your policy information, If you've got rental coverage than go for it. your agent should know.

I only have liability coverage.
But since it was the other driver's fault, and I need to get to work while my car is in the shop, they should give me a rental at their expense. Or it doesn't work that way?

That doesn't look too bad... if it were mine I would have just tried to get a little cash out of the other driver to avoid insurance claims. But it might be different where you are!

X2 ... Those 2001-05 lower valences with fogs can be replaced in about 45 minutes. And they're about $150. Now if it was a 06+ lower valence then I would have definitely got the insurance company involved because they're very hard to remove.

I guess I could've done that, but I'm kind of lazy in that aspect, and I just know that I would've ended up spending the cash on some other crap and never have the valance replaced.
