my friends friend has a 94 explorer "lariat" and it has a 4.0l v6, leather interior, power everything, i dont know yet if its a 2 door or a 4 door i know the speakers are shot (i have spares) the cd player in it sucks, one of the rear door handles dont work from the outside( no worries i could shave), and the kicker is that it has a auto tranny that is blown..but from what iam told the motor is nice and strong the kids dad just wants it out of his yard and i would love to have another project (like i need another) but my friend is going to talk to him and see if he would trade me it for a matco scanner and an amp.. i know some here dont care or dont think i need anything else but overall is this a decent deal?

iam going this afternoon if they agree to trade iam going to look at it and make sure its something i would want to have as long as its only the things listed that are wrong and you know me i will have pics of it..lol

 

transmissions are a dime a dozen in a junk yard.....i say grabe it, put in a 5R55E tranny in it and drive it as a daily.....
