Edge trim level sports monochromatic color schemes, available in 5 shades. Edge comes in 4x2 and 4x4 editions, but either way it rides at the 4x4 height. A raised power dome hood and mesh-pattern front grille contribute to its hip attitude.
SuperCab buyers can choose Edge Plus, with aluminum wheels, P235/75R15 all-terrain OWL tires, and AM/FM stereo in-dash 6-disc CD player.
Power Equipment Group adds remote keyless entry, and power windows, locks and mirrors. The Edge comes with either a 6-disc in-dash CD player or an MP3 player, depending on the model.

The Edge Plus is not mentioned in the 2004 or 2005 brochures.

right now i'm planning on a:

My 2004 SuperCab Edge is a Plus. I have the machine aluminum wheels with the "supposed" AT 235/75/15 tires, the In-Dash MP3/CD 6 disc chaner (mid level 290w Pioneer with the center console subwoofer), power accessories (P/W, P/L, P/M), 4.10 LS rear, and the chrome step bars (factory ford).
As for what was part of the plus package, I have no idea. I bought my truck slightly used (~2000 miles) and I don't have the original window sticker. However, I do have the Ford "Quality Preowned Sticker" that lists the equipment options, and it list my model as an Ford Ranger Edge Plus EC 4x2. The only option listed was the auto tranny. The rest of the "options" were listed under standard equipment for the Edge Plus.
So, your guess is a good as mine.
