UUGGHH!! Damned pre-owned.

Hey guys,

So, finally got some time to mess around with the truck a bit, (04 FX4 Level II) got the Sway bar taken off, and cleaned up the undercarriage a bit.

The big thing I wanted to do was crank the T-bars on it to level it out, so I measured, got 33.5" on either side in the front, and 35" in the back (to the bottom of the fender) So I jack up the front right and start cranking, get it done and its leveled out on that side, I go to do the other side and find that it had all ready been done. It would only allow for a half in of lift.

So, the front is now sitting at 34" and the rear at 35". So, to be honest, im a little pissed.

Now im going for a body lift, or I might just wait it out as long as I can and get a Suspension lift with some 33"s. Either way, just wanted to share the frustration with you all, what a pain eh?

One thing though, I did find that half in made it feel different, and I like it.

Can't wait to get this thing lifted and decked out some.

the pass.side t-bolt will lift up farther than the drivers side....its the same on every one of them.....has something to do with ford compensating for drivers weight or something.....go back and measure and i bet its lower than 33" now.....t-bars will settle after you drive them...and eventually sag.
