My truck has the flag style mirrors, like these. Two problems. Number 1, the mirror is destroyed on the passenger side. So it needs to be replaced obviously. Number 2, I've noticed they seem to create a TON of wind noise when I'm on the highway. Anybody else notice this? So I'm looking for other options for side mirrors. These look like a decent option. Should cut down on the wind noise. But I'm a little worried about the line of sight I'd get from them. I've stumbled across many websites selling these for next to nothing. First, I don't know how it's possible for them to be sold under $20 shipped and be worth a damn. Second, the mounting part doesn't look the same as the flag mirrors pictured above or the other mirror pictured. The flag's triangle is much more elongated and has a quick curve outward at the base of it, to fit around the window seal. But maybe these just don't go down as far? I don't know. I'm a little lost and just look for opinions from others who may have them.

I have the 2nd mirror type you're talking about. I haven't had any issues line of sight-wise at least.
