I have a limited slip out of a 92 mustang lined up.. I just need to get a clutch rebuild kit for it ($40) and get it installed.

couldn't hurt.. thats the price my friend quoted me, but he has good connections on parts, maybe $40 isn't what most folks would pay for it.

Then again, a 2-3 year old rear shouldn't NEED a clutch rebuild.

Remember those old Subaru commercials, that go "It transfers power from the wheel that slips to the wheel that grips?" Well a regular "open" differential transfers all the power to the wheel that slips. The "Limited Slip" is exactly that; it will allow one wheel to slip for a moment, then it will basically lock up and turn both wheels at the same rate. Great for drag racing and off-roading both.

will do! I take it you have alot of experience with them?

my buddy's dad said that he would help me install it, I gotta run over there today, in fact, to see if he has time tommorrow. if not, it will have to wait awhile to be put in, cuz of my short time.
