Glad you're alright for the most part. Could've been a lot worse. So when are you sending me the KM2's?

And knuckles, and maybe a control arm or 2.

Glad you made it!

I'm glad you're still alive and all....

but I think I'm gonna make a few enemies with this post.

Why do people seem so PROUD that they flipped their truck/car?????

"WOOT!!! I FINALLY flipped my truck! Look at these neat pics!"

Sometimes I seriously think that I hear about more flips/crashes on this forum than on the multiple motorcycle forums I visit.

Perhaps.

And I am NOT saying that the OP is "proud" that he flipped his truck. I just get that vibe sometimes on this forum.

im not proud at all for wrecking my truck. its embarrassing. i did something stupid and luckily no one else was hurt. and im alright too! big lesson learned in all this. i may not be acting all scared or shaken up, but that doesn't mean that what happened hasn't affected me.

i just posted it up because i thought people would find it interesting, and hopefully they can learn a little bit from it. i am very proud of how well my truck held up. i am also very proud with my amazing luck. i am also very proud that i walked away unscratched from something that was probably more likely to kill me

although, i dont think you were really looking for answer. you seem to be looking to start an argument.

No... it wasn't to start an argument... it was an observation.

FXWannabe did bring up a good point about wanting to say "I survived". I'm just getting other people's opinions.

Like I said before, I was in no way saying that YOU were proud. I just see more deadly crashes here than on my motorcycle forums.

THAT'S saying a lot considering motorcycles are more dangerous.

you are lucky then, when I rolled my 03 Ranger, the police gave me a ticket for going to fast
for conditions or something like that, when I questioned it, the cop said well I could give
you a ticket for wreckless driving, which would have been worse for my record and insurance, so I just shut up. they said it was standard procedure, maybe the law differs
in your state though. but yeah it just adds insult to injury.
btw an ambulance drove by on route to another accident, they asked if i had been drinking of course, when I said no, the medic says well you are just acting kinda funny. I said how the f do you expect me to be acting I just rolled my effing truck, its kind of a traumatic experience, what a idiot.
anyways sorry about your truck and glad your ok, its a good thing the cabs of our Rangers
are built so well and hope you get a better Ranger, like I did when the insurance pays you.

Couldn't agree more! I love going to the newer vehicle junkyards. Love seeing the kind of damage they incured. I know some of them, it's very possible a person was killed in them because some of the damage I've seen is just aboslutely amazing carnage. But I don't let that bug me. Of all the vehicles I've seen totally mangled but still recognizable, not to be a Ford fan boy, but Rangers tend to take very well to accidents in regards to the form of the cab. But other Ranger totals I've seen, namely a '03 XL reg cab t-bone on the driver side, was just a stop and stare situation. The driverside seat was pushed into the passenge side seat area and the frame below it was very bent. I've got tons and tons of junkyard pics on my external I've been meaning to hoon the pics.

Man...glad your okay. Thanks for posting these. It was very interesting indeed. Have you found out about insurance yet and a possible replacement vehicle?
