Its ok for now, 3000lb, single line pull. I can use block/tackle to double it if need be. I usually dont get that stuck.

No, its not ATV winch. although I guess it could be. To mount it I took off both tow hooks that were mounted by 3 bolts each. I got 3/8 inch plate 20" long. Used the mounting holes for the tow hooks that were in the frame drilled 4 -1/2 holes in the plate. Thats all there was to it. Really was easy. The winch will not pull me out if I am really stuck, but it is better than nothing.

I think you're better off having tow hooks than that toy on the front of your truck.......seriously though, do you now have no tow hooks, or is it removable?

dude that cable isnt strong enough for your truck you have death hazard on the front of your truck. IMO this is ****ing stupid. a Smittybilt is only 300 dollars. i hope this is a joke if not remove and put your tow hooks back on and wheel with a friend. because if you get so stuck that another ranger cant pull you out you will burn that pos up in about a minute

Haha, I'm sorry Downey but that was funny.

I got the same winch on my trailer. Works good for pulling a rolling car onto the trailer.
