Changed A Few Things Today...

So what is so special about the "Level 2" I dont understand... I know the Torsen rear and skids on the gas tank, T-Case, and valence. Is there anything else you get for the money?

This isnt a flame, I honestly dont know.. I'm stuck in the ORP days...

Function
15" Alcoa wheels
31" BFG KO tires
Bilstein gas charged shocks
SS front tow hooks + 1 rear hook
power equipment group
Fog Lamps
textured wheel lip moldings

Style
chrome bumper
gauge cluster w/ silver trim rings
bucket seats
console

It is an upgraded XLT - all the XLT options plus the above
Then there are the things your mentioned 3 skid plates + Torsen rear end

There are other options you can also get on a Level II, but the above all come standard.

What Neil said. Level IIs also have heavier duty 31-spline rear axle shafts.

You Can Now Access Another Style On Ranger-Forums...

It's supposedly a cut down F-150 axle. Some say the same as is used in the 1-ton Rangers sold in South America..

Should also note that the '03 FX4 LII came w/ a manual transfer case (instead of the standard electrically operated one) if you got the manual transmission. This was also true for the 'original' FX4 package offered in '02. Starting in '04 they seem to have discontinued this option..
