radiator fluid? how much?

radiator fluid? how much?

how much radiator fluid does a 03 3.0 ranger hold? cant seem to find it online and ive lost my manual ><

make sure to mix it 50/50 with water or buy the premixed stuff.

and yea, you don't want it 100% water or 100% coolant, bad stuff happens..

The pre-mixed stuff has always made me laugh. You're paying for water...LOL
If people can't save an old windshield washer fluid container and mix it themself, then they should have to suffer and pay for a shop to do it. It's so easy, but someone found an oppertunity to make money off the ever progressing lazy North American. Quite sad really.

But anyway, a 50/50 mix is a good ratio, the 60/40 mix just provides better protection. Personally I just stick with the 50/50.

surprised you dont used some metric ratio up there in canada.

yea bought the 100% then knocked it down to 50% at work today . its exactly 1.5 gallons total capacity including filling the reserve

wanna make it even easier. take 2 2 litr bottles fill one with anti freez and one with water. thats one gallon of both right there straight into radiator then fill resevoir up to about halfway with anti and the rest water/
