Spiritual experience

I had what could almost be described as a holy experience the other night. I was making yet another repair to my 2000 Ranger (t-stat) and took it for a spin to see if would overheat and blow itself up. I was sitting behind a beat up van and heard a high pitched, fine tuned exhaust ahead. Obviously it wasn't the van. Next light I heard it again. The van turned off to reveal something I've heard of mostly in song & legend... a Lambo Countach. Keep in mind where I live, a nice vette is considered 'Exotic', let alone something like this. The guy was driving it like a grandma (though with 12 cyl & about 500hp, you don't need to keep your foot on the gas to make it go. You keep your foot on the brake to make it stop). I got in the other lane anad passed him, going 5mph below the speed limit. (one of my few claims to fame... passing a Lambo without much effort, plus gave my ailing truck a shot of confidence.)

Indiana has a custom plate that says 'Kids First', with cute little hand prints and the proceeds going to schools, etc. The Lambo had one on the back... nice touch, though its about like putting a tree hugger sticker on the back of a hummer.

BTW, the truck doesn't overheat anymore.

I was expecting something totally different when I opened this thread, but isn't it nice and rewarding to find a true exotic car on occasion? This is why I marvel at the invention of the camera phone. I've got tons of pictures I've taken while on the road when I spot cars worthy of risking my life to take a picture of it.

You see a Lambo Countach all the time? Or do you see the new Lambos like the Gallardo, Murcielago, Diablo? The Countach is a legend and a very cool car yet very rare to see on the road. My favorite Lambo is the Diablo VT 6.0 gotta love em. Maybe one day haha.

I use to see them fairly often when I was in FL, but I don't see them very often here in my little town. Glad your truck is working better for ya.

I've seen about every exotic car, but then again I live in California. Still haven't seen a Enzo yet, only on the news when someone crashes one.
