very carefully hehe...
in all seriousness its got 7 screws in each rack going into the roof, sealed around the screws, and on the inside of the rack beams to keep water out. Its held up for 6 months now so all seems good.
and the lights are just seated into the cross beam and wired with fuse/relay/switch. Works well. Did the entire 4 lights forward lights, wiring, and rack for JUST under 100$

my thin piece of metal and 75% plastic (that,s actually a lot more metal than you think) pushed a rolled, dead, and very smashed mazda 3 off the road that did not have any rolling wheels what so ever. did it pretty well and had 0 damage aside from my licence plate corner bending and a little mud. not being a hater, but it would look sick.

And good on you for removing the bumper valance! Gen. 4 bumpers look so much better with the valance removed.
