My 2001 Ranger AC is blowing the air out top of my dash and not the vents? Thanks

 

Check to make sure the vacuum hoses are connected under the hood. Common issue. Check on the passenger side just behind the headlight. You'll see a black ball looking thing. Make sure the little hoses are connected there, and then up along the same side on the firewall......just behind the washer and rad fluid reservoirs. When a vacuum line is disconnected, you only get air from the floor and top of dash.
