ford ranger lightning bolt

damn that baby is seeeeexxxxy!

if only i had the money and time....

1/4 mile in the 13s. 380 supercharged horses.

how did they adapt the lightning rims to fit the ranger? a mod i might do myself, silver ones are running for $500-600 on ebay for genuine ford...plus tires i guess around $1000, another $75 for an adapter (but what adapter? a 5 lug 4.5 to a 5 lug 135?)

you would need adapters... TractionBound (Leo) had those, but he messed it up, cuz of the adapters...

Sorry Leo, for using your pictures.....

i love it, but it's not as safe...

The rear axle is a narrowed Lightning axle and the front spindles and brakes are also from a Lightning, so mounting Lightning wheels was not a problem. Those are not stock Lightning wheels, though. The rears have been widened and the fronts have been narrowed.

also they had to move the firewall back and make a larger transmission hump. it wouldn't be cheap to do it.

i saw it two years ago at FFF in SoCal. i asked them to start it up and WOW does that thing sound awesome
