Rocky Road Rock Sliders

Rocky Road Rock Sliders
A few years back I went to Utah to have a set of Rock Sliders mocked up for my truck. Anyway I just visited the web site of the company that used my truck as a prototype and noticed that they are now marketing those sliders to the general public. I have been very happy with mine. If you are in the market, you should check them out and let them know that you appreciate their support of the Ford Ranger. At the very least, you can see a few pictures of my truck at the very beginning of the transformation. The attached link below will take you to the Ford Ranger page:

By this claim, I believe that they are talking about the inner hitch steel main bar. There are no bends in that bar with their design. I am not saying that anyone needs to buy them just letting you know that they are available. Plus there are two options one around $300 and one around $400 both are fully welded and powder coated. We need to give some love to companies that support our trucks.

Thanks. Yes the sliders are all closed in.
Funny story, I had the unfortunate experience of merging over a ricer CRX a few months back. Without going into all of the details, my rear tire crawled over his front fender. All I felt was a slight bump. The rock slider completely protected my cab and bedsides from any body damage (rock slider made first contact). The only sign of the incident on my truck was some white paint transfer on the rock slider.

Maybe I should ask for clarification on what is meant by closed in. The main bar has both ends capped. The outer bar has bends on either end and are welded to the square tube. between the two tubes there are a series of gussets (for lack of a better term) that are welded in. I will shoot some pictures so that you can understand what I am talking about.
