I was got to wondering so I wanted to post a pole and see what kinda of exaust is the most popular, and what yall think sounds the best?

Super44 on a 4.0 sohc. 2.5" pipe comin' in, dual 2" goin' out, dumped before the hitch. soon: rear cat delete pipe.

Magnaflow si/do kit. 2.5 inch pipes all around with tips. It sounds good for a 3.0. Sounds like a v8 at idle. It sounds pretty good even at higher rpms, almost like a v8, but not quite. Its not too loud either, which I like. Dont want to attract the cops attention too much.

i have a 3.0 with a 2.5" flowmaster dumped. i thought it sounded like a V8 until i actually got my 5.0 mustang. i hate the sound of my truck now compared the the stang with the magnaflow catback i put on it.

I think my set up sounds good.. Flowmaster 40, 2.5' lightning style...



I'm also going to do the rear cat delete...

Ranger 4.0 Side Exit Exhaust "Lightning Style"

I think this side exit and dumped are the best choices out there. I'm going to see if the muffler shop I go to can do this side exit "Lightning Style" for me and do it nice not half ***.
